Data controller

StageWhisper is operated by Epochal, based in Warsaw, Poland. For any privacy-related questions, reach out through the booking page or email privacy@stagewhisper.io.

EU-only processing

All data processing happens within the European Union. Our AI providers processes conversation audio under a zero-retention agreement. Website analytics (PostHog) runs on EU-hosted infrastructure (eu.posthog.com). Your data never leaves the EU.

What the website collects

The stagewhisper.io website collects analytics data only if you accept the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected at all.

When accepted, we use PostHog (EU-hosted) to collect:

• Page views and navigation paths
• Download button clicks
• Screen resolution and referrer URL
• A randomly generated visitor ID (stored in your browser's localStorage)

We do not use advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. No data is shared with advertisers.

What the desktop app collects

StageWhisper captures system audio and streams it to AI models for real-time analysis. Audio is processed in-flight and never stored on our servers. Transcripts and suggestions are generated in real-time and kept only in the app's local memory for the duration of the session.

The app does not record calls, does not store audio files, and does not transmit data to third parties beyond the AI providers operating under zero-retention agreements within the EU.

localStorage

The website stores a small number of values in your browser's localStorage:

• stagewhisper-landing-theme — your light/dark mode preference
• stagewhisper-analytics-consent — whether you accepted or declined analytics
• stagewhisper-posthog-distinct-id — a random visitor ID (only if you accepted analytics)

No cookies are set by the stagewhisper.io website.

Legal basis for processing

Website analytics: consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can accept or decline via the banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for stagewhisper.io.

Desktop app audio processing: performance of contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Audio processing is required to deliver the real-time coaching service you signed up for.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO)

Data retention

Website analytics data is retained in PostHog for 90 days, then automatically deleted. The desktop app does not persist any conversation data beyond the active session.
